The Glorious Gazette brings dedicated Gloucestershire cricket coverage to CounterPress
Glorious developments in Gloucestershire, where the county will have their own dedicated media outlet from 2026.
Commentator, journalist and author Dan Whiting has partnered with CounterPress to deliver a new service for supporters of the West Country club.
The Glorious Gazette will offer independent, intelligent, insightful coverage of Gloucestershire's men and women across the summer and beyond.
Whiting is promising a breadth of reporting, including analysis, opinion and colour commentary, touching on white and red-ball cricket.
He is a familiar face at Bristol, and in 2026 will be commentating on white-ball cricket in his fifth season with the county.
A Londoner, he has been described by Jack Russell as "an adopted Gloster", and is part of the fabric at Nevil Road.
Whiting said: "County cricket has been sidelined for too long in a media that has focused on the national side.
"The Glorious Gazette will give Gloucestershire fans what they want, and we can promise exclusive insights and interviews with players that you will not see anywhere else.
"For a fiver a month, we wanted to keep it at great value; it is the cost of a skinny latte in a Clifton Village coffee shop."

The Glorious Gazette is open for business right now, with subscribers able to take advantage of a 20 per cent discount on monthly and annual memberships during April. Visit www.thegloriousgazette.news.
The site is the 17th county outlet to open on CounterPress, as part of a concerted attempt by cricket writers and creators across the country to revitalise coverage of the domestic game.
