Championship football comes to CounterPress as For Fox Sake launches Leicester City coverage
FFS, not another one!
CounterPress is proud to announce the arrival of Championship football, courtesy of For Fox Sake.
For Fox Sake has been talking all things Leicester City for 12 years, via a series of popular podcasts, but now they are preparing to step into the wider world of media, powered by CounterPress.
"We will produce an all-encompassing destination for LCFC supporters, young and old to enjoy!"Pete Selby, For Fox Sake Founder
FFS founders Pete Selby and Rob Hayes have teamed up with journalist (and Foxes fan) Andy Moore to bring wide-ranging written and audio coverage of the Foxes, starting next year.
FFS will launch on CounterPress on January 1, and readers can look forward to quality from the off, with both short-form news, long-form opinion, nostalgic reminders of days gone by, big interviews and regular content for our Leicester City Women fanbase.
Fans can register for early interest right now, with all those who sign up to the mailing list receiving a special and substantial discount on membership.
Leicester will become the fourth EFL club to have a dedicated local media outlet on CounterPress, after Swindon Town (The Moonraker), Bromley (From Bromley With Love), and Plymouth Argyle (The New Pilgrim).
Selby said: “After commentating live on Leicester City for over 10 years and discussing all things Leicester City from behind a different microphone for longer, I'm tremendously excited to partner with CounterPress. We will produce an all-encompassing destination for LCFC supporters, young and old to enjoy!”
"Our new partnership with CounterPress will enable us to create a thriving community for all Leicester City fans to be a part of."Rob Hayes, For Fox Sake Founder
Moore said: “What's better than talking and writing about something you are passionate about? This opportunity to team up with the excellent For Fox Sake podcast guys, Pete and Rob, and the team behind the exciting CounterPress was a no-brainer. We can't wait to bring every Foxes fan a true place to get fun, informative and insightful content on Leicester City.”
Hayes said: “I'm extremely excited to be growing the For Fox Sake family. Our new partnership with CounterPress will enable us to create a thriving community for all Leicester City fans to be a part of. Being involved in sports journalism and commentary with LCFC too, it's never felt like a job, it's just a passion and I can't wait to see the growth of For Fox Sake moving into 2026.”
